What we collect, why we collect it, and how to tell us to stop. In plain words, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.
Tenerife Tennis Academy SL, CIF B76813294, is the data controller for this website. Our addresses are C/ El Morro 2, Chayofa, 38652 Arona, and T3, Avenida de los Acantilados, La Caleta, Costa Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
For anything on this page, write to info@tenerifeta.com or call +34 922 729 691.
This website has no account area, no shopping basket and no contact form. You cannot create a login here and we do not ask you to type anything into this site.
When you contact us, you do it through WhatsApp, email or the telephone, or through a registration form hosted by Google. At that point we hold whatever you have chosen to tell us, which is usually a name, a way of replying to you, the age and level of a player, and the dates you are asking about.
This website is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, for security and for keeping the site running.
Most of the people we teach are under eighteen. We take details about a child from a parent or guardian, not from the child, and we use them only to run the programme that child is on. We do not advertise to children and we do not build advertising audiences from anything a child has told us.
Safeguarding records are held separately from anything this website touches, and our designated child protection delegate is responsible for them.
This website sets no cookies of its own. It does not track you, it does not profile you, and it works perfectly well if you decline everything on this page.
If you press Accept on the banner, one thing loads:
We also remember your answer to the banner itself, in your own browser, so that we do not ask again on every page. That is stored on your device and never sent anywhere.
If you press Decline, nothing loads and nothing is sent to Meta.
How long any of it lasts. The cookies the pixel sets in your browser expire within thirteen months. The browsing data behind them is not kept beyond twenty-four months, and is deleted or anonymised sooner if you withdraw your consent. Your answer to the banner is remembered for twelve months, after which we ask you again, so that nobody is tracked indefinitely on a decision they made years ago.
Changed your mind, either way? , and the banner will come back.
The typefaces the site is set in are served from this website, not from Google, so nothing about your visit reaches a font provider.
We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to anyone for their own marketing. Your information is seen by our own coaches and staff, and by the people who provide the services we run on, which include our email provider, our hosting provider and, where you have accepted cookies, Meta.
Synergy, the school on our site, is a separate business. Where a player is enrolled in both, each holds its own records.
Nothing is kept longer than it needs to be. Different records are governed by different Spanish laws, so the periods are not all the same.
Where Spanish law requires it, data that has reached the end of its life but may still be needed by a court or by the data protection authority is blocked rather than used, kept only for that purpose, and then destroyed.
Our own records are held within the European Union. Meta, Google and WhatsApp may transfer information outside it, under the safeguards their own terms set out.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, ask for it in a portable form, and object to us using it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without it affecting anything done beforehand.
Write to info@tenerifeta.com and we will answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at aepd.es.
If we change this page we will change the date below with it.

If you want to know what we hold about you or your child, or you want it deleted, say so and we will deal with it.
