TENERIFE Weather

Where are we?

Tenerife is a spanish island and one of the 7 canary islands. It has a unique location, close to the equator, which gives it an unparalleled climate, both in winter and in summer.

Being the most southern point in Europe has its advantages; long days of sunlight and warm tempratures year round, make it the perfect location for performance sport.  Not to mention the lack of rainfall at just 13cm per year which equates to around 5 rainy days per year. It is a true paradise

Tenerife is already very popular with many ATP and WTA players, who like to base themselves here on the island for their off season training.

About Tenerife

Tenerife is the largest, and most populated, of the canary islands. It is home to just under 1 million inhabitants and is visited by 5 million tourists per year.   It is home to the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide, at 3,715 m high.  This also makes it popular with many endurance sport athletes who like to train at high altitude.

The main language in Tenerife is Spanish.  However, due to its popularity throughout Europe as a tourist destination, it is unusual for residents not to speak at least 2, if not more languages, most often these being spanish and english.

Cuisine is typically spanish.
