Co-founder and owner of Tenerife Tennis Academy, Kris is an LTA Level 5 qualified Master Performance Coach and is the academy director, responsible for the development of all TTA player training programs.

Chayofa Club Coach

Patricio is the longest standing coach at TTA. He has a great reputation over the years with the Chayofa Kids Club tennis, he puts the smallest of our members through their first strokes and racquet holding, he takes many of the club classes at Chayofa and has seen many of our youngest members become adults whilst improving their game at the pace they want. He is also a favourite with our adults, organising evening adult groups and Sunday match play. Languages: Spanish & English.

Andrea Quatela

Club Coach T3

Andrea was born in Milan in 1980, he has been playing tennis from the age of 8, which has given him an excellent grounding for his tennis coaching. He is a favourite of the adults and children alike on a club level. He holds a Level 4 director of tennis diploma. His coaching experience includes a summer with the local council tennis club, tennis coach at one of the most prestigious hotels on the island (Abama) and he has been part of the TTA team since 2022. He is passionate about all areas of tennis, he has a calm character and portrays an energetic and positive attitude on court. Languages: Spanish, Italian, English.

Danielle

Academy Coach

Dani is currently combining his coaching work with studies. He is currently taking an intensive sports course, which focuses on teaching sports, tutoring with teaching techniques. This is the step to higher education in specific training for the development of tennis. Dani has been an avid tennis player since he was 8 years old. He speaks Spanish and English perfectly.

Camila Quintana Ottaviano

Academy Coach

Coach Camilla has 10 years of coaching experience covering a range of ages and levels. Currently she is one of our academy players coaches, she enjoys getting the best out of the children, working away at their coaching plan, improving their skills and techniques daily. Camila specialises in biomechanics applied in tennis, which is a fundamental part of coaching to improve all movements of the body to find the perfect stroke. Camila was the director and founder of Avellaneda Tennis School in Argentina. Also a coach at Cet Alcalá, Madrid and Darrod Tennis Academy in Gran Canaria. Languages: Spanish & English.

Ivan Josipović

Physical trainer

Ivan being a keen sportsman himself from the age of 5 years, he was in rugby and basketball teams, taking up tennis at age 5, he gained an appreciation for the world of sports. This led him to his further education gaining a Master of Kinesiology in Croatia specialising in strength, conditioning and kinesitherapy. Alongside his study, he also gained 7 years working experience in sports and physical coaching. He has worked with children and adults and persons with disabilities. He is now heading up the TTA Academy physical training program.

Lucija Kirschenheuter

Fitness and rehabilitation trainer

Lucija was involved in sports since her earliest years. She started doing gymnastics at the age of 6 and trained until she was 19 and entered college. With the desire to stay in sports, she decided to go for physiotherapy. While still studying, she began to apply the knowledge acquired by working as a physiotherapist and coach at the “Dubrava” Gymnastics Club, where she continued working after finishing her undergraduate studies with focus on injury prevention in sport. In addition, she also worked as a Physiotherapist in the Sports Recreation Association “Sport for all” and as part of the medical team in various sports competitions. After finishing her bachelor’s degree, she did internships at the “Sveti Duh” Clinical Hospital and a community health center. After completing her postgraduate studies in physiotherapy, she worked as a Physiotherapist in a private physiotherapy and rehabilitation practice ”MRAV”, part-time as a yoga instructor and on various projects related to the importance of exercise during pregnancy.
